2009 Fiesta Parade

Here are several photos I took of the Fiesta Parade. I didn't get to see the whole parade because my daughter woke up pretty late. My dad counted 18 marching bands this year.

It's probably obvious to the readers of Explore Silang that I suck at photography. I promise to work on my photography skills this year :-)

Hahaha, I think I see familiar faces in you picture, most notably the men in green shirt, aren't they barangay councilors.
I was in Silang on Sunday, just there to atleast be present even for the first day of the town fiesta. Having spent 9 years living out of Silang, every time I came home, the feeling is always new, (and I agree with you, when I left for college on 2000, I thought Silang was boring compared to the busy, lights, and nights of Manila and Q.C., but after being away for some times, I grew to love and appreciate the place where I was born and spent my happy childhood).
After the Eheads concert I hope I could be in Silang again, just in time for the death anniversary of my lolo.
I studied in Manila, after graduation worked in Ortigas, Eastwood and now I'm in Makati, I rent an apartment in Pasig, these places may be rich, busy and urbanize compared to Silang, but they lack the cold weather, and fresh fruits and vegetables and other things that Silang offers.
I hate going to Starbucks, probably because the aroma of the freshly roasted coffee beans always reminds me of how I loathe the city and how I miss Silang.
One day I hope I can permanently stay.
Anonymous again from Iba, btw my name is Ryan.
