Town Fiesta

Silang Cavite's Catholic Fiesta is on Monday- February 2.

The people usually celebrate for three days, from February 1 - February 3. You can start visiting houses on February 1 and expect to be fed :)

I'm looking forward to the parade that will happen on Monday. That's always fun. At least 15 marching bands EVERY year. Growing up in this town and not being allowed to go out much as a kid and teenager, that was something I always looked forward to. I live for that parade.

Happy Fiesta din! Hahaha, long last may nakita akong kababayang over the net, taga Iba ako kaso boring naman ang fiesta dun kaya nakikisabay kami sa fiesta ng bayan, anyway, I've notice that the festivities lessen yata during this times, ewan ko lang ha parang lang at feel ko lang.
Is it because the old folks are dying? Hopefully not.
Saka bat yung pumuntang banda dun sa Iba taga Gen Aguinaldo, what about the local bands aren't they playing also the Ati-atihan, ano bang ati-atihan yanhow dissappointing.
Anyway the baratillo is fun.
Also, a relative that lives in Lalaan mentioned that they changed their fiesta (just fyi), previously it was the second Saturday of February just right after Silang's, now she said its in August.
Anyway happy fiesta!

Cherry: Thanks :)
Anon: My partner is also from Iba :) I know the Lalaan fiesta has been moved to August. I have to ask my dad for the exact date so I can post an announcement here :)
