My Fave Place!

I love, love, love going to the market.

The Pamilihang Bayan ng Silang (Silang Public Market) is at the corner of M. Belen St. and P.Montoya St

I Decided to Stay, Now I will Conquer

I have come to accept it, I will be the old lady who didn't leave the town she grew up in. I used to dread the thought. After having spent 12 years in Manila for college + work, I was convinced Silang, Cavite was boredomsville.

But after quiting full-time office work to care for my daughter a year ago and finding myself immensely satisfied with my life in "boredomsville" where my partner and I have chosen to settle, I have not only accepted the fact that I will die in this town, I have embraced it. I LOVE it here. This is MY town. It is a perfect little (actually it's pretty big) place on earth.

Initially, I just wanted to create ONE blog post in my personal blog about how satisfied I am with life here but I thought why stop at one entry when there's so much this town has to offer? So I created this blog.

I will admit-- I've never really been to many places in this town but since I am here for the long haul, I might as well explore as much of it as I can.
